Orange Vodka Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are a party appetizer go to for game day. Orange Vodka Sauce goes so well with chicken wings everybody will want them! Wild Maine Blueberry Harvest

There are so many great things about August in Maine and in the food category wild blueberries and lobster are at the top of the list. Wild Maine blueberries are special, they are sweeter and richer in antioxidants than the bigger cultivated blueberries. They truly do grow wild and are a favorite of bears too! Smoked Potatoes With Apple Rum BBQ Sauce

Maine is a big potato producer and being from northern Maine, also known as The County, potatoes were everywhere. There are so many great ways to enjoy potatoes so of course I just had to try doing them in the smoker!  I've prepared potatoes many ways over the years but combining them with cheese, bacon and our award winning Apple Rum Sauce is one of my favorites.   Even though I did these in the smoker you could easily do them in the oven.  Here's how: Wash potatoes- I use either round whites or russets.  Cook 3-4 bacon strips, cook and chop. Wild Turkey With Apple Rum Sauce

It's Spring and that means turkey hunting time across the country. Wild turkey is different from farm raised turkey. It's not gamey and if cooked correctly is moist and delicious. Most of the time we breast out the wild turkey and are left with a very large skinless cut of meat.
